Comments: A younger crowd, but some of them are starting to break out. The main problem with this site is their permissive attitude toward trolls. I recommend you skip their forum, unless you want to be abused by people who should be kept off the internet. There is reason to believe there has been outmigration and that the site has not kept up its roster.

Comments, August 2008: Members site inconsistent attention from the webmaster, important decisions left in limbo and a narrow focus on ComicsGenesis veterans as bringing Cornstalker to the brink of collapse.

Comments: Housing some of the bigger names in webcomics has allowed magic to rub off on some marginal works, allowing them to keep their key to the clubhouse. The forum is mostly shut down, no one has thought to update the hideous logo -- this is a private club. Don't embarrass the doorman by making him drag you to the alley while twisting your ear.

December 2008: Goes to show you never know what problems you're getting in bed with. Someone drew my attention to a prolific alcohol-fueled attack on cartoonist Tim Buckley. Deserved or not, it was one of those Twitter moments, and it caught one Dayfree member at low ebb.

Comments (August 2008): The tag line, the small cast and the look of the site could almost make you say, "That's no collective, it's a web site by a guy and his friends." The members work the convention circuit like many other cartoonists, however, and while they may not perceive themselves as a collective, their unity of purpose seems to make them one.
