    The Web Cartoonist Choice Awards are web comicdom's version of the Eisner and Ignatz Awards.

    A search will reveal lively debate about the performance and merits of the WCCAs, which I cannot resolve. A review of the past award winners is part of our history, however, and makes for interesting browsing.

    Eisner, Ignatz and Shuster have added categories for web comics, and are included in previous years' lists. The awards for 2008 have not been announced.
